It is tweaked for Pentax, for example it defaults to the JPG settings that you have set in your camera even though you are shooting RAW. Is the functionality from DCU unique or is it all duplicated in the RAW editor I own (which happens to be ON1 Photo Raw)? Not legally Maybe contact Ricoh to see if you could buy it?Ĥ. SilkyPix software is similar/same to DCU in its processing but may miss some Ricoh/Pentax specific features (possibly Pixel Shift but I could be wrong).ģ. IF this is correct, what needs to be purchased that can be updated by the Ricoh site updater? I only see on the SilkyPix site a Version 10 of their product. DCU is the Ricoh/Pentax software which is based on underlying SilkyPix processing software.Ģ. Is my understanding correct that SilkyPix now owns DCU? It appears the a company called SilkyPix now owns DCU. I see updates on the Ricoh for DCU version 5, but no download of the program. But that was so long ago, I have no idea where the install CD would be. I see DCU (Digital Camera Utility Version 5) referenced sometimes and thought I had a copy that came with my K-30 or K-70.
